Iconic Maryland Photography Project

MPT invites individuals to take pictures of the people, places, and things they feel are truly iconic to their home state, Maryland.

Complete the submission form by clicking the button below. Submissions must be original photographs (no copycats, please) of a person, place, or thing found in Maryland. Only completed submissions that meet all criteria will be displayed.  Please be sure to read the guidelines and best practices.

MPT will review submissions and display them in the gallery below – providing a fantastic visual of the icons Marylanders hold near and dear to their hearts. 

We also encourage you to share your photos on social media using the hashtags #IconicMaryland and #IconicPhotoChallenge and #IconicAmericaPBS. You may be featured in the national Iconic Photo Challenge.
